Champagne is constantly served as an aperitif or as a toast at the end of a meal, so it is usually overlooked when it comes to nutrition.

Demi Sec Demi sec style Champers is sweeter than standard brut champers and is a good match for foie gras or foods having a slight edge of sweetness to them. It also goes well with puddings ( so long as they arent too sweet ), as well as red berries - especially strawberries.
